H33-74 preserves verification continuity across changes in chains, software, vendors, cloud providers, AI models, identity systems, and organizational structure.
Continuity Portability Is the Primitive.
Chain portability is one expression of it. Cloud portability, software portability, vendor portability, AI model portability, identity portability, and organizational portability are others. Continuity Portability is the umbrella primitive.
Most infrastructure investments today treat evidence as a byproduct of the current system: when the system is replaced, the evidence is replaced with it. That assumption is corrosive at long time horizons. Audit, regulatory enforcement, civil litigation, criminal evidence, board accountability, and insurance claims all play out over 5-, 10-, and 25-year windows. The system that produced the original evidence is rarely the system that's around when the evidence is needed.
Six Classes of Infrastructure Change.
H33-74 evidence survives:
- Blockchain migration — move from Ethereum to Solana, from public chain to private chain, or to any future ledger
- Cloud provider migration — AWS → Azure → GCP → on-premises → sovereign cloud
- Software vendor replacement — replace the orchestrator, the model server, the database, the CI/CD pipeline, the observability stack
- AI model replacement — swap out GPT for Claude for Gemini for Llama, or replace any classifier with a successor
- Identity system change — Okta → Azure AD → custom IdP → federated identity standards yet to be invented
- Organizational change — acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, parent-company replacement
None of these break the chain of evidence. H33-74's 74-byte primitive, signed under three independent post-quantum signature families, is the constant. Everything else is replaceable.
The Asset Outlives the Operator.
The 30-year mortgage outlives the loan servicer. The 25-year tokenized bond outlives the issuance platform. The 10-year insurance policy outlives the underwriting firm. The medical record outlives the EHR vendor. The patent dispute reaches court a decade after the underlying decision. The class action investigates events that happened across 5 different IT vendors.
In every one of these cases, evidence produced by the original system is the thing that has to survive — even after the original system is gone. Continuity Portability is the architectural commitment to that survival.
A 74-Byte Primitive That Belongs to the Asset, Not the Operator.
H33-74 is a 74-byte canonical commitment plus a post-quantum signature bundle under three independent hardness assumptions (ML-DSA Module-LWE, FALCON NTRU-SIS, SLH-DSA stateless hash-based). The 74 bytes are: 32-byte canonical state + 42-byte PQ-attestation bundle.
The primitive is operator-agnostic. It travels with the asset, the decision, the workflow, or the transaction it attests. The signing key is in the H33 trust boundary; the verifier is open at github.com/H33ai/h33-verifier. Anyone with the receipt and the open verifier can re-verify the original event — including parties who don't trust the operator, don't trust H33, and don't have access to the original system.
Integrate Once. Survive Everything After.
Continuity Portability is an integration choice made at deployment time, not a migration project undertaken later. Once the H33-74 SDK is integrated into the system that produces the consequential decisions (the AI agent, the issuance platform, the underwriting engine, the EHR action, the governance vote), every subsequent event generates an H33-74 receipt as a byproduct of normal operation.
When the system is later replaced — by you, by your acquirer, by your regulator, by your insurer, by your court — the receipts come with the asset. The successor system doesn't need to recreate history. It needs to honor it.
