The Founding Team
H33 was built by two people whose skills were made for this problem. A cryptographer who builds the infrastructure that makes data mathematically impossible to steal, and a data privacy attorney who understands exactly what the law requires that infrastructure to do. Most companies bring legal in after the technology is built. At H33, the privacy expertise and the cryptographic expertise have been in the same room since day one — because the problem demands both.
Eric Beans
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Eric Beans is the technical co-founder of H33 and the engineer behind its cryptographic stack. A serial entrepreneur who previously built and exited Texting Base, he returned to solve a problem he saw coming: post-quantum security that actually works in production — fast enough, small enough, and simple enough to deploy.
He built H33's FHE, ZK, and post-quantum signing engines from scratch in Rust, with no external dependencies. He holds three issued patents and has ten applications pending covering more than 250 claims across the H33 architecture. He oversees all technical development, product direction, and API integrations.
Laila Archer, Esq., CIPP/US
President, General Counsel & Co-Founder
Laila Archer is the legal and operational co-founder of H33. A CIPP/US certified data privacy attorney with more than a decade of experience in technology law, she brings privacy and compliance expertise to H33 at the ownership level — not as outside counsel, but as a founder who has been in every significant contract, partnership, and regulatory conversation since day one.
She earned her J.D. Magna Cum Laude from Barry University School of Law and her B.A. in Linguistics Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida. She is a Florida Bar licensed attorney, a court-appointed arbitrator, an active IAPP member, and fluent in French. She previously guided the successful acquisition of Texting Base, Inc.
At H33, Laila reviews every contract, leads partnership negotiations, and oversees legal strategy across HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, NIST, and federal procurement frameworks. As 51% owner, H33 is a Women-Owned Small Business.
